OUR DONORS
We have amazing stories of generous and charitable people in our community.
A little 5-year-old dropped off food that he personally gathered in a drive as a school project.
An 8-year-old girl accepted cash donations to the Food Bank instead of birthday gifts.
A young 20-something with a social platform raised money for the Food Bank so he could give back to us, because he once needed our services.
A dad brought in hundreds of dollars worth of food for the hampers, just to demonstrate to his children the value – and the reward – of giving to others less fortunate.
A senior citizen spritely jotted his name on the bottom of a cheque as he made his regular visit to donate.
These are just a few of the examples of generosity that we have seen here in recent months. There are so many more.
We are reviewing a donor recognition program to recount some of these stories and share them with everyone. Watch for more information coming out later this year.
We hope to capture your story among them.
