We are solely donor supported. We are not funded by any government money except grants for which we apply and receive approval.

Is there a time when donations are needed most?

The demand never really slows and in 2024 we are seeing record demands, an increase of over 80% in the past five years.

For example, in May 2020, we served 90 families. In May 2024, we served over 500 families. In August of 2020, we distributed 420 hampers, and in August of 2024, nearly 1,100 hampers left our facility.

It’s not letting up: In September we served 2,185 adults and children – and in one week, November 12 – 18, we served 883 people. In 2024, we are serving between 2100 and 2800 people from our community every month.

The demand is year-round. Like you, we are feeding people 12 months of the year, and unlike past years when the numbers would drop during warm seasons, now we consistently distribute between 900 – 1,100 hampers a month.

We receive over 70% of our annual donations between the middle of November and the end of December. That said, we can accept donations any time of year and appreciate all financial and food donations we receive throughout the year.

To really understand our operations, it’s helpful to come have a tour of our facility, to volunteer, and of course, to donate. Please visit the Get Involved section of our website to see how you can contribute.
