La Poutine Week

February 1 - 7 is a celebration of the definitive Canadian Cuisine!

This is a big week in the Chefs’ world, and they are pretty passionate about creating some awesome poutine dishes for the event!

Our partners at Sysco have created La Poutine Week to support local restaurant communities across Canada. Naturally, Chef Shane and Chef Michael were quick to jump on board “la bandwagon” to participate!

Take these kits to your home or office, assemble & enjoy!

Choose a regular size (feeds one person) or a large size (enough for two). You even get your choice of fry style: crinkle cut, tater tots, or spiral fries.

Menu

Traditional - good ol’ cheese curds & gravy

Pulled Pork - BBQ pulled pork, cheese curds & gravy

Braised Short Rib - Short rib, pickled onion, fried egg, curds & gravy

Butter Chicken - Butter chicken sauce, curds, cilantro, red onion

Mac & Cheese - Fresh pasta, cheese sauce, chili flakes, curds & gravy

Pastrami - Pastrami, pickle, curds, gravy, Dijon aioli

Lobster - Lobster meat, curds, white gravy, fresh herbs

Pay $10 for a Regular size, $16 for a Large 2-person size, plus GST.

Deadline to order: 24 hours before pick-up (last chance is 5 pm February 6).

Simply complete this online PDF form (print version here) and email it to Chef Shane at chef@reddeerfoodbank.com OR fax it to 403-356-1551 no later than the day prior to pick-up.

Orders are picked up at the Red Deer Food Bank Community Kitchen, #10, 7429 - 49 Avenue.

All profits from the sale of these meals will be used to support the Hamper Program at the Red Deer Food Bank. Any additional donations over and above the price of the meals will go directly to the use of the Red Deer Food Bank Hamper Program.
