Stuff-A-Bus is Back!

Stuff A Bus November 24-26

Roll on down to Parkland Mall!

Bigger and Better Than Ever!

The annual Stuff-A-Bus event returns to Parkland Mall again this year, this time with some extra pizzazz!

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the Red Deer Food Bank and Red Deer Christmas Bureau will be at Parkland Mall on November 24, 25 & 26 to receive donations to make the holidays brighter for families in need in our community.

Bring down a donation of food, toys, cash or cheque to the event any time between 11 am to 7 pm Thursday or Friday, or 10 am to 4 pm Saturday. The hub of activity will be in the hallway at the Staples/Winners entrance, across from Phone Experts, Leggings Pro, and Suzanne’s. Staff and volunteers will be there to receive your contribution, and radio personalities from Zed99 and Real Country 95.5 will be broadcasting on site.

Some new activities this year!

The staff and volunteers enjoy adding some extra flavor to this holiday event, so they’ve created some themes for each day to add to the festive feel. Check out their Crazy Christmas Caps Thursday, Flannel Friday PJ Day Friday, and Ugly Christmas Sweater Saturday!

Saturday is going to be even more fun for families who want to swing by for the event. A face painter and balloon artist will be there between 12 and 4 pm Saturday afternoon - kids can get their faces painted for free with a donation to either the Food Bank or Christmas Bureau. Hearts of Harmony will be caroling at 3:15 - 3:45 as we wind down the event.

What to donate

We have our Wish List for our hampers and welcome all non-perishable food item donations. The Christmas Bureau is thrilled to receive gift items for all family members, especially children, youth, teens, and even parents.

We are also able to accept cash, cheques, credit card and debit card payments at the event.

Both the Food Bank and Christmas Bureau are extremely grateful to everyone who can find a way to contribute, especially this year with so many challenges we’ve been through and may yet face in the coming months.

Thanks to Our sponsors

STEP Energy Services is helping to make the event possible with their sponsorship of the event. It’s corporate supporters like them who make important events like this possible.

Parkland Mall have always been amazing hosts, and we are extremely grateful that they are once again opening their space to us for this keystone event.

Sobeys has been the grocery sponsor of Stuff-A-Bus for years and we appreciate that they back this program so much, they will even take donations at their checkouts now in advance.

Real Country 95.5 and Z98.9 are the media sponsors that make all this magic happen, and we value their contribution to making everything work behind the scenes.

Thank you as well to all the local businesses who provided support in preparing for this event - we appreciate you all.
